Water analysis by the expert laboratory

From sampling to analysis to assessment, we offer everything so that you can guarantee the purity of your water.  Whether microorganisms or chemical parameters, we have the right process for every question.


Water is the basis of all life. Different benchmarks determine its purity depending on the purpose for which it is used, for example, drinking water is used for drinking or food preparation. It must be extremely pure to prevent damage to people’s health, in particular due to carcinogens, when it is consumed or used. Bathing pool water must not be harmful to health, though its purity requirements differ from those of drinking water. Testing process water such as hot water is not only about ensuring that the system is operated safely, but also concerns occupational health and safety. Waste water testing focuses on both health and environmental protection. An official permit to discharge waste water is only granted if certain waste water purity requirements are met.

Drinking water

We can test all parameters for which limits are set in the Drinking Water Ordinance, including:

If the technical limit for legionella is exceeded, we prepare an impartial, expert, reliable  hazard analysis  according to VDI 6023, the GEA recommendation, and the applicable Drinking Water Ordinance with respect to drinking water installations. The site inspection is carried out by an expert and a master heating installer with many years of professional experience.

Our services also include a whole range of tests, from acrylamide and highly volatile halogenated hydrocarbons (LHKW), mineral oil hydrocarbons (MKW), polycyclic aromatic hydrocarbons (PAK), pesticides, THM, and various special tests. You can find more information in our list of services.

Bathing pool water

Our services cover a complete water analysis of swimming pools and bathing pools according to DIN 19643, including sampling from jacuzzis, plunge pools, swimming pools and bathing pools, and the filtrate water and filling water for them. Due to the different ways in which water is used, there are various requirements which we would be pleased to explain to you in a one-on-one conversation.

Waste water

We also offer a comprehensive range of analyses when it comes to waste water analysis, including sampling. We also carry out expert checks to ensure that official permit requirements for discharging waste water are also met. In order to obtain representative samples of waste water, the location and time of sampling, as well as the sampling method deployed, must be carefully planned. This includes tests on acrylamide and highly volatile halogenated hydrocarbons (LHKW), mineral oil hydrocarbons (MKW), polycyclic aromatic hydrocarbons (PAK), pesticides, THM, and various special tests. Process water

Process water does not need to be of drinking water quality. However, process water also has to meet certain purity standards depending on where it is used, as its quality is crucial to the safety of systems such as heaters or evaporation coolers. For example then, water impurities carrying legionella in wet cooling systems with an open circuit pose a serious health risk to staff.

To mitigate this risk, we offer the following services:

  • Hazard assessments with risk analysis and risk assessment, including microbiological and chemical/physical inspections.
  • Creation of an operating manual containing the evaporation cooler’s technical details, cleaning and servicing intervals
  • Monitoring of water quality (14-day check)
  • Assessment of the installation location with regard to possible exposure.
