The test laboratory’s tasks include analysing incoming samples and analytical plausibility checks of the results. Our services cover a variety of chemical/physical, microbiological, and molecular biological methods, and also include sensory testing. A key area of focus for the test laboratory is method validation and development, which helps keep our services reliable and up to date. This process is supported by ongoing participation in capability testing systems and the implementation of inter-lab inspections.

Accreditation of the test laboratory according to DIN EN ISO/IEC 17025, held since 1993, ensures that the very highest safety and quality standards are maintained. The German Accreditation Agency (DAkkS) certifies the test laboratory at Institut Kirchhoff GmbH to perform tests in the areas listed in the accreditation certificate (Reg.Nb.: D-PL-17609-01-00).
